Acceptable Use Policy
JUMP TOThis Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") forms part of the DomainEasy™ Terms of Use & Agreement (the "Terms") and applies to all Users of DomainEasy Inc. ("DomainEasy," "we," "us," or "our"), including buyers, sellers, lessees, and lessors.
This AUP governs your access to and use of the website located at https://www.domaineasy.com (the "Site") and any Services provided through the Site.
By using the Site and Services, you agree to comply with this AUP.
- Purpose
DomainEasy operates a transaction facilitation marketplace for domain names. This AUP exists to protect:
- Users and marketplace integrity,
- domain name reputation and deliverability,
- registrars, payment partners, and service providers,
- DomainEasy systems and infrastructure, and
- compliance with applicable laws and policies (including ICANN / registrar rules).
- Prohibited Use (General)
You may not use the Site or Services to engage in any activity that:
- violates any applicable law, regulation, or government order;
- is fraudulent, deceptive, misleading, or abusive;
- infringes or violates the intellectual property rights of others;
- attempts to interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the security of the Site or Services;
- harms or exploits other Users; or
- otherwise creates risk or harm to DomainEasy or Users.
DomainEasy may determine prohibited conduct in its sole discretion, including conduct that is not expressly listed in this AUP.
- Prohibited Use (Domain Name Misuse)
You may not use a domain name listed, sold, leased, financed, transferred, or managed through DomainEasy for any of the following:
3.1 Harmful / Abusive Activity
- phishing, impersonation, or social engineering;
- malware, spyware, ransomware, botnets, or malicious code distribution;
- scams, fraud, card testing, or credential harvesting;
- spam distribution (email spam, SMS spam, "lead spam," etc.);
- distributing illegal content or conducting illegal activity; or
- activity that materially diminishes the reputation, deliverability, value, or transferability of the domain name.
3.2 Misleading Content and Deception
- redirecting Users to deceptive pages or malicious downloads;
- using false brand claims or false affiliations; or
- impersonating DomainEasy, a registrar, a payment provider, or any third party.
3.3 Registry / Registrar Violations
- activity that violates registrar or registry terms, ICANN policy, or applicable UDRP/URS rules;
- attempts to bypass transfer locks, dispute holds, or registrar restrictions; or
- unauthorized access to registrar accounts or transfer codes.
- Prohibited Communications and Circumvention
Users may not:
- attempt to circumvent DomainEasy's transaction process for any domain introduced or facilitated through the Site;
- share or request direct contact information (email, phone, payment handles, messaging apps, social accounts, external links) for the purpose of executing an off-platform transaction; or
- use DomainEasy messaging for solicitation, spam, harassment, or abuse.
- Prohibited Technical Use
You may not:
- scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Site without written authorization;
- attempt to probe, scan, or test the security of the Site;
- use automated scripts or bots to interfere with listings, pricing, offers, or checkout;
- circumvent access controls or authentication mechanisms; or
- attempt to overload, degrade, or disrupt the Site's systems.
- Enforcement and Remedies
If DomainEasy determines, in its sole discretion, that a User has violated this AUP (or is likely to violate it), DomainEasy may take any action it deems appropriate, including without limitation:
- removing or disabling listings;
- suspending or terminating Accounts;
- restricting messaging, offers, checkout, or financing;
- cancelling pending transactions;
- imposing additional verification requirements;
- delaying or holding payouts (including under the payout security hold provisions in the Terms);
- reverting DNS settings, suspending DNS access, locking a domain, and/or revoking a Buyer's "Right of Use" under financing (as described in the Terms); and/or
- reporting activity to registrars, payment partners, identity providers, and/or authorities as required by law.
DomainEasy may enforce this AUP without notice where immediate action is required to prevent harm.
- No Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision of this AUP in a particular case does not constitute a waiver. DomainEasy may enforce this AUP at any time.
- Updates
DomainEasy may update this AUP at any time. Updated versions become effective upon posting (or as otherwise stated). Continued use of the Site or Services constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
